Spark Plug Removal and Replacement

3. Move the fuel valve hose clamp (1)

forward and gently remove the hose from

the fuel valve fitting on the gas tank.

4. Remove the vent hose (2) from t he

instrument panel, taking note of the hose

routing for reinstallation.

5. Remove the tank mounting bolt (3) at the

rear of the gas tank.

6. Move the tank rearward and upward over

the engine. S lowly remove the tank and

be careful not to catch any hoses, wires

or other components. Place the tank on a

stable surface or work bench. Be sure to protect the valve from contamination or

damage.
